WELCOME to Orgodomo – The Premiere Relocation Orchestration company in the United States!

My original company name, The Moving Doctor, served me well for over 27 years because we relieved the pain of moving!  I realized, however, that If I wanted to expand my services and grow my business, it was time for a change. The rebranding process has been exciting and I am so proud to introduce Orgodomo, Inc.!  While the name has changed, we are still THE Premiere Relocation Orchestration Company in the United States.

Let me explain how we arrived at the new name:

ORGO – Shortened variation of the word Organize.
[ôrɡəˌnīz]
1.  To put in order; arrange in an orderly way.
2. To cause to have an orderly, functional, or coherent structure.

DOMO – From the word majordomo.
[mā′jər-dō′mō]
1. The most important servant in a house, in charge of the other servants
2. One who makes arrangements or directs affairs for another.

That pretty much sums it up, right!?  As for the new tag line…

The phrase Relocation Orchestration sums up what we do and the niche we created, which is: Overseeing and orchestrating relocation projects and unpacking and professionally organizing new or existing homes. Many of our clients never see a box!  They go on vacation and come home to a new address with everything in place.

Over the years, I’ve worked with clients who are moving into a home they have been building for years, only to find a lack of storage space, cabinets that are 2 inches too shallow to accommodate the dishes or, worse yet; closet rods installed at the wrong height and shirts and blouses are dragging onto the bar or shelf below. That is where our newest service comes into play.  Our Interior Optimization Services allow us to work with clients that are building a new home to ensure the elevations and cabinets, etc. are built with organization in mind. Often, there is an architect for structure and a designer for beauty. We bring form, function and organization into the mix. Of course, if you’re buying a house, you’re buying someone else’s version of a house.  By implementing our Interior Optimization Services, we can make any house YOUR HOME!
